The only time we will be able to contact you, is only in response to an email request that you send us.
Will you ask for my name or can I be anonymous ?
We will ask your name at the beginning of the survey.
However, it is optional.
There are distinct advantages in supplying your name due to improving data research and allowing us to properly confirm your service and locations.
By providing your name at the beginning it allows us to confirm your information is unique to you and not a duplicate.
It will improve your interaction with the overall heat maps.
We will not ask for any other personal information.
There are no other provisions in the ‘Review’, for supplying further personal information.
Will my personal review details ever be shared or displayed?
Absolutely NO!
The purpose of FRR is to ensure anonymity, to only provide collective results from personalized reporting.
No personal details will ever be shared.
Personal details are only gathered to ensure authenticity of the individual submitting the review.
What is the purpose of this review?
The purpose of this ‘Review’ is to gather the truth and valuable insights from ALL First Responders about their career.
Your feedback helps us provide authentic comparisons that will demonstrate exactly what is happening on the frontline.
It is your chance to debrief on your service.
You get to say how it is and how it was.
The fact that you became a First Responder, means you are selfless and prepared to give more of yourself to the community you serve / have served.
Here is a chance to give your thoughts and shared experience to the next generation of First Responders. Help them make the right choice for their future.
We collect and tabulate your highs and lows. We then compare your review with other emergency service organisations across Australia.
We will present your experience through heat maps, which will be up-loaded regularly to show how each service compares to the others.
Will it make a difference to my former employer?
YES. The results will reflect the positive and negative aspects of the Emergency Service you currently work or worked for.
You were held accountable for your service - the aim is to make the Emergency Services accountable, by publishing results.
How is my privacy protected if I participate ?
First Responders are by nature private people.
We are retired First Responders ourselves and hold privacy to the highest degree.
Data will only be used in building an aggregate form to enhance our review processes and improve our mapping evaluations.
Your information will remain secured and private.
Is there a cost to participate?
Completely Free. There is no cost to share your experiences in a debrief review.
In fact, feedback has suggested that First Responders are feeling better within themselves, when they are liberating themselves from some burden of being discharged unsatisfactorily.
How long does it take?
Approximately 15 minutes.
You may submit as much detail as you wish to.
Will I receive any support if I encounter issues during the 'Review'?
Yes, we provide support for any questions or challenges you face in completing the survey.
If you encounter issues, please reach out to our support team via contact information provided on our website.
Can I edit my responses after submission?
Unfortunately, once you submit your response it is unable to be edited.
But, you can redo the 'Review' as many times you like or feel necessary.
Your newest 'Review' will update your old review, so feel free to update anytime.
If you experience any trouble, please email our support team.
Can I delete my review?
Absolutely, you can have your review deleted at anytime.
Simply make contact with our support team via the 'Contact' page on this website and we will delete your entry.
No questions asked. You will receive a email confirmation that it has been deleted.
How are survey responses utilised?
Responses are analysed to ensure accuracy of all the displayed heat maps. This ensures that our content remains relevant and beneficial.
We aim to educate the community, inform Emergency Services senior management, and for new recruits to make informed choices.
Is there an incentive for participating in the Review?
While we do not offer monetary incentives, participants have reported the overwhelming sense of satisfaction in contributing their experiences to First Responder Reviews.
What services do you offer?
We will be offering personalised reports of your service, which will compare your experiences against colleagues.
Due to First Responder’s working amongst tragedy, criminality and death, we believe that every First Responder’s experiences should be recognised.
